Dr. Kirk Eriksen
Dr. Kirk Eriksen has been in clinical practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic for more than 35 years in Alabama. Throughout his career, he has combined patient care with a longstanding commitment to chiropractic education, research, and evidence-informed spinal care.
Dr. Eriksen became Board Certified by the Society of Chiropractic Orthospinology after completing advanced examinations in X-ray proficiency and spinal correction procedures. In 1998, he was elected president of the organization and served for nearly a decade. During his tenure, he helped teach postgraduate courses in spinal care to doctors throughout the country.
Dr. Eriksen also earned Certification in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma (CCST) after completing a year-long postgraduate program encompassing spinal trauma, neurology, radiology, injury biomechanics, case management, and medico-legal aspects of spinal injuries.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Eriksen is an internationally recognized lecturer who has taught doctors throughout the United States, Europe, and Central America. He has authored and co-authored research published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and is the author of two textbooks published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, a leading medical and healthcare publisher:

Outside the office, Kirk enjoys spending time with his wife, Valerie, and their family. Together, they have five children—including two doctors and a licensed dietitian—and two grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and following college football, especially his Florida State Seminoles.
